I recommend that you eat well before you come in, and remember to stay hydrated. I also highly recommend to not drink alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment. Alcohol is a blood thinner which may lead to excess bleeding, making it more difficult to tattoo.

Please keep skin moisturized. Staying hydrated also applies to maintaining healthy skin.

If this is your first tattoo or you are feeling nervous at all, I am always open to communicate throughout the process from start to finish.

Every shop has their own recommended care methods. You will be given an instruction card after you’ve been tattooed with my personal care instructions. This is also available on this website under the “aftercare” tab.

AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS HERE

Average healing time for a new tattoo is about two weeks. However, each individual is a little different so it may take longer. Please remember not to submerge your tattoo under any body of water (pool, bath, etc) during the healing process. Always tend to your tattoo as specified in the after care instructions.

To be transparent about the cost, I will share it with you before the appointment. I base my pricing off of a $200/hr scale accounting for a small drawing fee for customs.

Pricing usually looks like:

-Palm Sized:

Flash~300, Custom ~$350

-Hand Sized

Flash ~$400, Custom ~$500

Shop minimum is $250

In this shop I will only tattoo those over 18 years of age. A valid photo ID will be requested upon the day of the appointment, so make sure you have that on hand. If forgotten the appointment will need to be rescheduled for a later date.

Rodeo Tattoo Co. is a by appointment only studio and will not be doing walk-ins. If you are from out of town or are feeling the spontaneity bug, shoot your shot and send me a DM. I might be able to squeeze you in.

I am currently only doing black and grey tattoos, no color.
